Zigurds Kronbergs’s knowledge of several major European languages has enabled him to translate complex material into English from Latvian, French, German, Italian and Russian. He has also dealt with Dutch and Spanish texts.

His areas of specialism range from tax and accountancy through the whole range of financial services to education, history and politics. He is experienced in translating European Parliament interventions, statutes and regulations and correspondence with the Commission. A particular high point was the translation into English of the address to the European Parliament by the President of Latvia in February 2009.
